Whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be growing up, I never had a clear answer and just said whatever came to mind. It wasn't until high school where I took Audio/Video Production. I got invested in filmmaking, learned how to edit videos, worked behind the camera, and practiced my script writing. I knew I found my calling and wanted to see what I could do with it. I created a position for myself as a script writer until I got my own segment reviewing movies for my high school new station. Which became a hit and was everyone's favorite segment. Even when the pandemic hit, that didn't stop me. I use that free time to create a youtube channel which has grown to 12K subscribers now. During my time in college, I picked up photography and created a side business out of it. I explored the field of journalism, I even learned how to animate! I created a PSA that got nominated for the NATAS Student Production Awards. My short film Rope and news segment from Cardstock Ep.4 won two NATAS Student Production Awards. I even had to the chance play Rope on the big screen! With the experience and skills I gained from college, I had the opportunity to work in a internship where I made commercials for a company, that now airs it nationwide! Creating videos of any kind brings me joy and I want to showcase my work to the world. The film industry is my calling and I know what I want to do now. Give me any task and I'll see it through to the end. This is my canvas and creating videos is my art.
